All of our sites are managed and marketed from Palm Springs, Ca. As architect and founder of the original SoberRecovery.com, I was part of a team that received commendations from City, State and National agencies for our use of the Internet to deliver services and support to addicts and alcoholics, their families and friends. SoberRecovery began as a single page in September of 2000, and by early 2006 we had grown to 500,000 pages viewed by over 10,000 visitors every weekday. Our online community had 35,000+ registered members, and 22 amazing full-time volunteer moderators. We were supported by 20 contracted sponsors/advertisers. I had to walk away from it all in mid-2006; 5+ years of 15 hour days had taken a toll. I've returned to writing and reporting while maintaining a small, exclusive base of clients as a Traffic, Content and Marketing Consultant. Recently I decided I was going to try and do it all over again...in living color. The 'official' launch of the webs first all-video directory and library, TheAdddictionChannel.com, will take place this January.
