This is a non-profit organization dedicated to the betterment of the world. We seek to help everyone in all different spheres of life. We know some struggle or need assistance more than others and that is where our priority is. WHO WE ARE? We are dedicated students who want to initiate change in the world. No older than your average college sophomores or juniors, but our level of thinking is so much more advanced than many could imagine. This is a harsh world and as Mahbub ul Haq once said " A poverty curtain has descended right across the face of our world, dividing it materially and philosophically into two different worlds, two separate planets, two unequal humanities--one embarrassingly rich and the other desperately poor ". Although my goal is to help everywhere, most things are a result of poverty or lack of resources and that is why that quote means so much to me and what I stand for. WHAT WE DO? We help, it is as simple as that. In any way that we can and in any situation that we can, we make things happen. Rather it be gender issues in Congo and other parts of the world or if it be the United States slow response to issues in Darfur or China. We want to make sure that all children are fed, clothed, and educated. And also that although true equality would call for the complete destruction of this world, we at least want to try to achieve it in some spheres. Those spheres we strive to change are political, gender-based, sexual orientation, and racial and prejudicial issues.
