Created entirely in the USA of completely sustainable fabrics, the LolliDoo Diaper is an easy to use and care for, trim fitting, super absorbent, and environmentally friendly diaper. LolliDoo is a revolutionary new diaper that keeps babies dry without the use of chemicals and offers both the user and the Earth a healthful approach to diapering.
Disposable diapers are not an innocuous diapering choice. In fact, they contain numerous chemicals that have been linked to cancer, sterility and rashes. They leave a huge impact on the environment – over 92% of all disposable diapers end up in landfills, posing a threat to underground water supplies and creating potential airborne illnesses. Furthermore, disposable diapers use 20 times more raw materials like crude oil and wood pulp than cloth diapers to manufacture. Over 300 pounds of wood, 50 pounds of petroleum, and 20 pounds of chlorine are used to make disposable diapers for one baby for just one year. To date, cloth diapers, although a better alternative to disposables, are not immune to environmental ill effects. Most still contain a toxic-to--create waterproof outer of polyurethane laminated fabric (PUL) – harmful to both babies and the environment.
